Even as a puppy we could easily tell Hud was going to be a very special dog. Hall of Fame breeding, great temperament, intelligence, extreme range off of horseback and total style are just a few of the traits that make this 3 year old a true All Age contender in any stake he competes in.

 2004 was Hud's rookie year in adult dog stakes and what a year it was. Expert trainers and handlers, Robbi & Keith Gulledge, guided Hud to finishing his AKC Field Championship in his very first year competing against some of the top All Age dogs in the country. Beginning in March and ending in September, Hud had four All Age placements, three were FIRST, two of those in Limited All Age. Hud earned 10 Championship points qualifying him as the AKC #1 ranked All Age Shorthair for 2004 (also the youngest dog in the top ten). In addition to being an exceptional field trail competitor Hud is also a terrific family pet and is very relaxed in our home with our three kids and other two GSPs. He's a very biddable bird dog. Proof of this is that I personally foot hunt Hud each season and have also won an Amt Walking Gun Dog stake with him as recent as Spring of 2006.
